Heyo Founders and Side Hustlers 🤙

This week, we're diving deep into something every founder wrestles with sooner or later: How I Organize My Content Planning for Building in Public (+ Free Notion Template).

Generating ideas isn’t the hard part.

It’s turning those ideas into consistent posts that separates "thinking about building" from actually building. If you're anything like me, you've probably jotted ideas into your phone, voice notes, or random docs... only to forget where they went.

I tried everything—Google Docs, Apple Notes, sticky notes—but nothing stuck until I built a simple system in Notion that helped me stay consistent without killing creativity.

Here’s the system I use every week:

  1. Brain Dump – A running list of raw thoughts, half-formed hooks, and screenshots. No pressure to polish, just capture.

  2. Pipeline View – Posts move through: To Draft → Drafting → Scheduled → Published. I always know what’s live and what’s coming.

  3. Content Tags – I organize by pillars like "Startup Lessons" or "Bantee Updates" so I keep things balanced and fresh.

That’s it.

No “30-day content calendar” pressure. Just a clear way to show up, one post at a time.

This is the exact setup I use. I’ve shared it with a few founders behind the scenes and the feedback’s been consistent:
